7.18.23 - Planting seeds with expectation
Hi ,
Are you patient?
I will be the first one to tell you patience is something that I struggle with. No one has ever said "Danielle, you are so patient." smh I wish.
I've had to work on it (a lot, especially since having kids) and some days the patience is just not there. Other days I have so much patience, I give myself a pat on the back.
I tell you this because a lack of patience can cause you to look crazy.
Take myself for example. If I feel God telling me to do something, and then I do that thing, but if God does not do his thing in 24-48 hours then I get frustrated.
I know I probably sound crazy but this is the truth. It wasn't until a few weeks ago that I realized, this is completely ridiculous to think that God needs to sprout up a tree 24-48 hours after I planted the seed.
Can you relate to this?
Are you so impatient that you think you can plant a seed and 24 hours later there should be a tree growing?
That was me lol. I'm a mess lol.
So I had a talk with myself and said "Danielle, you are crazy. Stop treating God like a microwave."
So I did. I told God, "I'll do this and I'm okay with it happening in your timing."
That was hard because that's not what I want. I want to plant seeds and get the harvest tomorrow. Who wouldn't?
I'm sharing this because I want you to know that God can handle our crazy. He can handle us being impatient. But he wants us to trust him.
So we should keep planting seeds, and keep expecting a harvest in HIS time, not ours.
I appreciate you reading this email and I hope it helps you! If it does, please share this business with someone you know. #helponehelpmany
Love,
Danielle
