10.11.23 - God’s got it

Good morning ,

I have learned my mind does better when I pray and when I read my Bible.

A few days ago I found myself getting stressed about a situation within my business. I was telling a friend that I wasn't going to let it stress me out or cause me a headache but there I was feeling more and more stressed as I thought about it. So much for talking myself out of being stressed haha.

Later in the night I thought, you gotta pray. This is out of your control. Pray about it and allow God to show you what to do.

So I prayed in the shower, because that's one of the only places I can find alone time lol. I was low key offended because I prayed and I still felt stressed smh.

So then I got in bed and started reading a devotion from my Bible app.

I'm not sure if you remember my last email where I told you about the prayer of Jabez but I started a 3 day devotion on it (Enlarge by Vance K Jackson) on Sept 28. I completed the second day on Sept 29. Then I forgot about it :(

So I thought well let me finish that last day. I started reading it and the last scripture in the devotion was Proverbs 16:3 "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans."

Wow. Just Wow. It's crazy how God will give you direction in the most simple ways.

I started reading more about that scripture and ended up reading all of Proverbs 16. It's wonderful. It's crazy how you can read something in the bible and each time gain more understanding.

Anyways, reading that verse was a reminder that everything I do I need to seek God for direction. Not just when I'm stressed, but in everything.

Meanwhile, I'm currently reading in Exodus. The Old Testament is fascinating to me. It's really shown me the personality of God. I love it.

I'm reading in Exodus about the tabernacle and the furniture. In the past when I read it I was kind of bored. Even today it's still a little boring reading about all the minute details. However, I noticed something. God is thorough. He is extremely thorough. He left out no details. And it reminded me of Proverbs 16:3. God has a plan for me. A very well thought out plan. He missed zero details. He knows everything. He already know all the mistakes I'm going to make and trouble I will face, and he has planned it all out. That's fascinating to me.

I'm not sure if this week has been stressful for you. Maybe it's been frustrating or painful. Maybe it's been a great week. Whatever your week looks likes, remember to seek God for direction in every season of your life. He is the master of planning and working things out in a way that will blow your mind.

If you have time this week, I encourage you to read Proverbs 16. :)

I appreciate you being a part of my community. It's always more than skin care :)

If this email has helped you please share it with someone you know.

Love,
Danielle
