11.13.24 - the fruit of the righteousness

Good morning ,

I am currently studying the book of Proverbs with my Tik Tok Community and it's been such a blessing to go deeper into God's word. Each day I read a chapter and share my takeaways on my channel. It's been enlightening and convicting to learn about what God desires and hates. The bible is very clear about the difference between a wise and foolish person. There is no gray line between what happens to the righteous and the wicked. The truth is plain. It can be hard to accept and feel harsh, but it's all laid out for us in God's word.

I was studying Proverbs 11 this week and when I came across verse 30, I paused, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and the one who is wise saves lives."

The fruit of the righteous is eternal life. If we live our life in a way that honors God we will have eternal life. But it's the second part that gets me.

I talk a lot about how important it is for you to read God's word for yourself. It's filled with truth and a guide for our daily living. You should read it on your own, not just listen to others read it and rely on their understanding.

However, if all we are doing is reading the word, what good is that?

We should not only be reading, but living out the word in our daily life. But there's more...

The second part of verse 30 takes it a step further - the one who is wise saves lives.

It's not just about having wisdom and living it out, it's about sharing the gospel to save lives. We are here to spread the good news of Jesus.

If we truly believe what the Bible says we know that when judgement day comes, there will be no hope for the unsaved. My heart breaks for those who do not believe.

How many times do we share a funny joke, or a frustrating moment but we neglect sharing God's truth because it can be offensive or feel weird?

This scripture was very convicting to me. I pray that God gives me bold confidence to share his word with others and the Holy Spirit will move in their life.

We can get so caught up in what's happening in our life, but let us remember this is a small piece of time. If we believe in Jesus, we will live forever in paradise, but how devastating will it be for those who will spend eternity suffering because they chose to not believe.

This is a heavy message. I pray that God will continue to use me to share his truth.

I desire to be wise to save lives.

I want God to say, "Well done Danielle! You didn't just encourage people, but you pointed them to me and they were saved!"

I love you and I pray this verse was just as convicting for you as it was for me.

I appreciate you being a part of my community. It's always more than skin care :)

If this email has helped you please share it with someone you know.

Love,
Danielle
