12.11.24 - what’s your availability?

Good morning ,

I know we are all busy, especially this time of the year. There is so much to do and the days are running out until Christmas and a brand new year.

You probably think you don't have any extra time for anything, but I encourage you to ask yourself these 2 questions:

1. What does your availability look like to spend time with God?

2. Are you available for God?

For most of my adult life - the answer has been no. I don't believe I ever intentionally said "forget God, I don't need him, I'll figure it out." What I did instead is I busied myself with so much stuff that I didn't have any time to truly know God for myself.

And when I wasn't busy with what life told me were priorities, I kept myself busy with fun stuff I wanted to do, or I just didn't do anything at all (because I wore myself out being busy).

What I learned over the last few years is to make God my #1 priority. The more I know him, the more I want to spend time with him, because who wouldn't want to spend time with the one who created everything that exists.

I believe it was sometime last year I started asking God to use me in whatever capacity he desired. And God surprised me by using my mess of a life and mistakes to help encourage others to seek God. I began sharing these morning inspo emails with my community and I started pursuing other ways to help encourage others to rely on God as their source. It blows my mind how God continues to answer this prayer even to this day.

Once I began to deeply get to know God, somehow I just started letting stuff go because I knew it didn't align with his purpose for me. This was the Holy Spirit convicting me and helping me.

This year I got to a place where I said to myself, "I don't want to be anywhere that is not in the will of God." And I hope you don't either.

You don't have to write me back with your answers, but I encourage you to take a look at your day and see where your time is spent. Is any of it spent with God? Are you willing to be used by God even though you don't know what that looks like? Is God a priority in your life? Would others know that God is a priority?

I appreciate you being a part of my community. It's always more than skin care :)

If this email has helped you please share it with someone you know.

Love,
Danielle
