9.12.23 - A not yet praise

Hi ,

Last week I shared with you that life has been lifeING real hard this year. I'm praying for a lot of different things I can hardly remember them all. Sometimes I go to God and I don't even have the words to pray because there is so much going on between the kids, the house, the business, the world, you name it.

None the less I've been spending more time praying.

But what does that mean? Yes I'm praying. But what happens from there?

I gotta be honest. Nothing was really happening other than me praying, praying again, and praying some more.

Then I attended a church my family has been visiting since July. I really love this church and plan to join soon. Anyways the pastor was saying some of us need to work on our "Not Yet Praise."

And that someone is me. He said "what's the point of praying if you aren't believing that God is going to answer your prayer?"

Awhile back I talked about this and how it's sometimes difficult to believe that God as big as he is, will do something big for little old me. I mean I know he could but why? There are so many other "better" prayers that people are praying and so many other "more important" prayers people are praying.

This is literally how I think and I'm working on it.

Anyways, the pastor's message convicted me. Again.

God has been working on my heart and my mind. I'm learning that I am important. My prayers are important. Lots of healing to get through but I'm getting there.

I want to encourage you and remind myself to give God a Not Yet Praise. Pray and praise him for what he is going to do next. We can't wait to praise him. He is too good.

I'm praising God in advance for restoring my hair, for a work space outside of the home, for my kids to be respectful and good listeners, for an increase in income, for my testimony to reach more people....

I could go on!

What are you praising God for in advance? Write me back and let me know!

I appreciate you being a part of my community. It's always more than skin care :)

If this email has helped you please share it with someone you know. #helponehelpmany
